Omega-3 and Omega-6 are both essential fatty acids because the human body cannot make them. We must consume them in our diet.
Omega-6 fatty acids are found in vegetables such as corn, soy and safflower oil.
Omega-3 fatty acids are available from 3 sources:
ALA (alpha-linolenic acid) is found in flaxseed, walnuts, mild and meat from cows raised on pasture and
DHA (docosahexanoic acid) is found in fatty fish, fish oil supplements and fortified diary products.
EPA (eicosapentanoic acid)
Farmageddon tells the story of small, family farms that were providing safe, healthy foods to their communities and have been forced to stop, sometimes through violent action, by agents of misguided government bureaucracies. Farmageddon puts policymakers and regulators on notice and highlights the urgency of food freedom, showing policies that favor agribusiness and factory farms over small family operated farms selling fresh foods to their communities. Canty (director and producer of Farmageddon) seeks to encourage farmers and consumers alike to take action to preserve our rights to access food of our choosing and for farmers to be able to produce foods safely and free from unreasonably burdensome regulations.
